Hello everyone! Im sure things like this are posted frequently and I could be just terrible at using the search function but Im looking for a place that would allow me to work on and store my bus in the Tampa Area and have thus far had no luck. Ive tried the craigslist storage and parking section and called as many storage places as I could think of in the area. In a last ditch effort I turn to the peoples of the internet for help.

Does anyone here know of a place that would allow me to store and renovate a bus in the Fl Tampa Bay Area? thanks in advanced for any information anyone is able to provide!

I have my Bus in a Gated fenced yard near Tropicana Field in St Petersburg.
You can store it and work on it there, access to water and electricity.

There is room in the yard, and the fee is quite reasonable.

PM me and I can place you in contact with the Landlord.

I'm looking for any help building my bus in Riverview. I'm building my 2010 Blue Bird All American by myself. I apparently don't know what I'm doing since I can't seem to find the "emergency cut off switch" so I can start my bus. I had several electricians look at my bus but tell me I need a diesel mechanic. The diesel mechanic says no they don't. any help advise would be appreciated

Those buses have very complex electrical systems. I know from my time driving them as a job that the ignition interlock on those is often tied into the ECM and is difficult to disable.

You could try the Blue Bird dealer down there (no idea who handles the Florida region) but you will pay a lot.

If it were me, I would contact the seller for instructions, at least over the phone if not in person.
Maybe I would go visit my school districts bus garage and go in and ask. I bet they are still running the same age bus.
Don't be shy, maybe you have to scratch nose and wink six times as you turn the key.

Do they allow you to live in it while you work on it?

The previous owner can't help. I've contact my local school & city transportation, Greyhound and Bluebird with no responses. Still looking for help. I even posted on Facebook, craigslist and and website with skoolie and got 5 people to show up to quote me and then they never came back. No one wants to work

Good morning. I know this is an older post, but I’m curious if the landlord has any availability to store/work on a skoolie. I’m moving from Tampa to St Pete/kenwood area, so this area would ideal. Thank you so much! Mike

Unfortunately, we can no longer store/park any vehicles on the property in St Pete, long battle with the code inspectors.

I am currently storing my Bus in South Tampa at Interbay Outdoor Storage (Not to be confused with Interbay Self Storage), Large fenced and gated lot with someone onsite 24/7, and they have no issue with you working on your Bus.

Its behind 6824 S Manhattan Ave, 813-833-5075.

I have been pretty happy there, but I miss the shop in St Pete.
