Hi, I'm looking to start a skoolie build, but my skills are limited to interior finishings and working my normal remote desk job. Is there a service or a recommended route to find experts who could do the initial tear down, and rough-in of plumbing, gray water, potable water tanks; electrical wiring, solar, furring strips, etc. I feel like if I start a project like this, I'll tend to get way over my head, second guess myself, and tell myself that I should have hired an expert in the first place.

If I was me, I would acquire a factory RecreationVehicle, deconstruct the systems I hope to install in my rig, then duplicate some of components and procedures.

!!! Warning !!! Caution !!! Danger !!! Avoid Dumbness !!!
Some factory RecreationVehicles have holes in the roof.
I encourage you to carefully examine the areas around those holes... and everyplace downstream.
Despite their invigoratingly 'quirky' nature, you may realize holes in the roof could quickly turn into a resounding disappointment.

What bus you get may determine how easy/challenging the build is. Hiring it out is dicey, I recommend you focus on finding the bus, then cross the bridge of buy/build.

There are several...including some here in the forum. Where are you located?

I'm in Central Florida, but I plan on using it in a variety of situations across the United States. (Likely nothing during the dead of winter in the north though)

So, are you looking for someone to build it for you?
Of the long list of items you listed, not much more would need to be done.

What part of central florida are you in… Sebring????
