Rubber window seals

I have an 85 Thomas and the thin weather strip around the glass on side windows has shrunk. Any ideas?
Should I replace the rubber or is there an effective alternative?
Mostly one corner on each windo has "popped out" the rest is intact.

on the sliding part of the windows? or this is the rubber strip between the glass itself and the frames?

im not sure if you can buy replacements to refit the glass yourself or not.. I know the general consensus aroiund here seems to be that fpr the best quality, you ditch the school bus windows and use RV windows..

there are companies like schoolbuspartsco. that sell many parts.. but they seem to be pretty pricey.

Yea I don't know about doing all that sheet metal work and buying windows.
i like the rv window idea but want to retain the bus look on this build.
I wonder if black rtv would work. It's only on one corner of the windows. I know it sounds shady but I'm not rich lol.
They aren't currently leaking that I can tell.

I have the same issue and none of mine seem to be leaking, but I am just now starting my conversion and was wondering if it needed to be done for the long run. We are keeping all of our bus windows.

Resealing the windows is not real hard to do just labor intensive.

All the windows that I removed from two busses so far get recycled for my sandblasting cabinets.

FREE GLAS...yeah!

Disassembling the aluminum frames is real easy except every once in a while you will find a stubborn screw or two. I just grind them off.

Point is that you can completely disassemble each window and re-seal with quality automotive window sealer.
