So my running lights worked, then I had to cut the line to reroute for ceiling and now they don't. I know my connections are good and had whole wire exposed so no cuts. Wondering if my problem is that DC needs to be "chained?" i.e. I put both side lights, incoming and continuing line in one join, but notice the front and back have them one at a time. Do you need to run one side with incoming/outgoing and then a couple inches down do the same for the other side? Thank you.

Thanks for asking. Yes I had wired everything just fine - only ever having driven the bus once forgot there is a switch for the running lights. Not my only "doi" moment.
If I ever can get back to this now abandoned project will have lots of other things to figure out.
