A surveillance camera captured a terrifying accident on a ferry in Tadoussac, Quebec where an RV can be seen jumping the ramp and landing on the deck of the departed ferry. The driver of the RV later died of his injuries, while a female passenger is in critical condition. No one on-board the ferry was injured.

now if that had been a skoolie, they would have dusted it off and drove away - like a scene from 'Gone in 60 Seconds' -lol

Did the RV driver fall asleep or was he thinking: "If Evel Knievel can do it...."?

Judging by the shadows on the ferry deck, the RV came from the North where the highway (QC-138) ends abruptly at the ferry ramp.

That is wild and a great example of true motor home construction. No different than a mobile home except mobile home owners know they are not made well. Im sure most RV drivers are clueless as to the safety of their home.

Doncha love the warning it started with? More than enough time to read, digest, and comprehend, while affording sufficient time for the 0.09% of humanity that might actually opt out of viewing to do so.
Then, in case you didn't catch the carnage completely, it's looped for an instant replay!
Slo-mo and color commentary'd been nice...
("Would you just look at that, Jimmy! Have you ever seen recreational vehicle achieve that much air?!!"
"No, Wally, I can't say that I have. Certainly not since that F5 completely emptied an entire trailer park in Camels Toe, Kansas back in ought-three
.")
Do ya think the design engineers at Winny Bagel factored in for hard landings..? [emoji848]
Given how it wound up flatter'n hammered dawg sh1t, I'm thinking, "No..."
