Hello fellow skoolie fans! A few years ago I traveled with a friend on his skoolie and totally fell in love with skoolie living!
Now that I'm not living in Chicago anymore, and have a yard and some work space, I'd like to make my skoolie dream come alive! I'm starting at square 1 - planning on what type of bus I want to buy. I want to live in it, and travel in it, so I'm looking for something big that I can stand in, and still get pseudo decent gas mileage (though I realize that might be the real dream lol!)
I'm doing my best to educate myself before the purchase. I've been seeing a lot about engines, and it seems most people have pretty strong opinions about certain engines. Model A is solid, model B is total crap etc.
So for my first question, what's your best pro tip when it comes to the engine? Thanks in advance - can't wait to hop on this bus with ya'll!
