Screwed By Seller - Any Advice?

We are working on getting some land in the next year or two so I can "collect" stuff like this. :biggrin:

You had better check the zoning where ever the new land is to be located because there are not many areas of the US where where you can create a junkyard on your property without some type of permit. The old west days or I can do anything I want on my land are gone even in Texas.

Polk county will allow one derelict or abandoned per property, unless they are under a cover (i.e. car port or garage) and not in the front yard. They do not even let you park an RV if it is hooked to utilities except in preparation for a trip. Yeah, been doing a lot of reading on the codes in your neck of the woods (er, south of there).

Flagler county gives you two weeks in an RV. Or up to six months if your house got bopped by a natural disaster.

No travel trailer or motor home shall be parked for occupancy in any place other than a place designed for such use, meaning travel trailer or motorhome parks, or park for occupancy for a period exceeding two (2) weeks.

I actually have multiple relatives living there. I wonder if I could legally just cycle between their houses for two weeks at a time?

anywhere thats rural county property more than a few acres should be ok.
Fences are the best neighbors. If all else fails a steel building will solve any woes about what can be kept on one's property.

No prob lol. The guys I sold it to turned it into a storage shed on wheels.

Saw online a red-painted school bus that had been converted to a goose neck camper. I suppose if you have a truck that can tow, and a welder, you dont need a working drivetrain.

You seem calmly resolute. I applaud you. I wouldn't have handled that ordeal well, myself.
