Seats....

As I sit and plan on power point and paper the details of my bus-to-be (soon), one question continues to pop into my head; what does everybody do with all those seats? Do they all end up in a landfill? Are there any other uses for them? Any suggestions?

Thats funny you said that as I thought about using the seats as a base with a mattress over it for bunk beds. Thats a great idea for the frames!!

I welded the seats together and recovered them and built a U-shaped lounge in the rear that turns into a large bed. There is a lot of good material in the seats.

Mightybus, I'm gonna do a spiral staircase too. I am going to have a shop weld a 3 to 5 foot extension deck off the rear of the bus. Then I'm going to weld a spiral staircase from the deck to the roof. I will take marker lights and place them up the stairs sides so at night they light up. You are creative my friend. Grey water tanks from water heater tanks. WOW!! I like it I do.
