1. There have only been a handful of school bus manufacturers in recent years. International/Amtran, Freightliner/Thomas, and Bluebird.

2. You should be able to find the models of all the FE buses fairly quickly with some google/wikipedia searches. I don't think anyone here has any special spreadsheet of the exact differences in the height of the first step, etc...

3. You're a prick, and you're going to find people aren't going to rush to help you if you continue to come off like one.

Right on. But in this case, by removing 4 feet of linear floor space, you are scrapping the floor plan. I would need to start all over again on something "better" and four feet shorter!?! Wow, I need every inch I have. Sorry but I don't have an extra 4 feet of the floorplan to lose.

But I don't have anything better than this and I don't want anything that is four feet shorter. No way. This is the best I have so far, and I'm sticking with it unless it needs to be changed. Since it does not need to change, I am sticking with the plan.

So as for the general type of bus and how long the floorplan should be, that's been decided. Several inches of improved ground clearance does not seem like a fair trade to give up 4 feet of floorplan length. That's a lot to just throw away from a design without any extra room.

I think I have seen heavier-rated axles than 14k on the front, but not sure. I am also not sure why you posted that info. Does it help? I'll let you explain the helpfulness involved.

Being for alternative energy does not require conflict against one's ability to earn a living. For example, one can run an ICE from the products of breaking down water into its individual components of hydrogen and oxygen.

And it's created at a perfect proportion for super clean and most efficient combustion. An inventor who was mysteriously killed (Stanly Meyers) once designed a vehicle that fractured water into hydrogen and oxygen using a resonant frequency.

It was claimed that he could drive his dune buggy from one side of the nation to the other using about 22 gallons of ordinary water as a fuel stock. The engine does not run on water but on oxygenated hydrogen.
