Selling my 40ft Thomas schoool bus in California

Cali is supposedly a beautiful place, but probably last on my list of places I'd wana live. Good entertainment for the rest of us though.

ive travelled there alot.. when in the Bay area I make sure I fly in and never rent a car... forget parking and the narrow streets of San fran.. public transit and walkability is FANTASTIC.. lots of fun coffee shops and cool things to do.

when I visit the LA / san diego / palm springs (lower cali).. I usually fly in and rent a car with the biggest engine I can find.. freeways when not grid-locked and stopped are going 95 MPH. with no one willingto let you merge so you get the fastest car you can and just floori t on the on-ramps..

LA isnt very transit friendly.. but West Hollywood and beverly hills is a hoot to visit and people watch.. santa monica is nice... San diego is fantastic city.. love to walk that city..

not sure id drive my school busses there much though... I prefer to fly in, enjoy my time there and fly out...

driving in through death valley is an experience.. my T-444E would probably burn up.. I ran it in a Jeep wrangler softop.. I didnt roast too bad.. as a kid we ran it in our Diesel Scout.. didnt over-heat but the A/C belt flew off twice..

I've been calling last-ditch locations, and I'm packing for a bit of a camping trip at assorted walmarts and rest-stops to buy myself a few days. Still a cripple though. I'm kinda pushing myself hard to even move around this much.

Edit: My local wal-mart is No-Park! They don't allow overnights, and neither does the home depot they share a lot with.

Update: Currently dodging the tow truck by moving to assorted friend's houses in nearby towns. I need this thing gone, or a place to put it.

Update: I'm down to 6k on the price, I can't keep moving this thing around to dodge the tow truck any longer.

Update: last call, 3k or the junkyard, I'm out of friends who live close enough to cover for me.

Can you just buy a bunch of water and food at walmart and then drive 2 hours out of the city? Find a dirt road somewhere out of sight from paved roads and camp out for a couple more days so you can figure things out.

If it wasn't for the fact that I'm looking for a sub-30' dog nosed bus I would help you get rid of it, but it's kind of the opposite of what I need.

Not to sound like a broken record here, but I'm disabled. I can barely move, much less go on an adventure out of state or camping with it. The purpose of the bus in the first place was to customize my living space to fit my disability and reduce the financial burden of monthly living. I cannot go to OK. I can barely drive at all.
