Should I pick up my new bus or ship?

Pick up would be a 7 hour round-trip. Would it be easier to ship? What fees have you guys been hit with to ship? Trying to weigh my options...

It will cost significantly more to ship, over a grand easily. For that short of a turnaround you could rent a car one way and drive the bus back the same day.

I guess it really depends on your comfort level.

Mine was closer to 14 hours r/t drive and shipping never crossed my mind. I rented a car, drove down, dropped the car off and drove the bus home.

Amtrack is really nice- you can chill while you travel and is cheap. Drive your bus back relaxed.

Uber the last few miles or have seller come get you from station.

driving your bus home is a good shakedown and learn test.. you learn of any issues you need to correct.. (opil leaks, water leaks, bearing squeaks), etc if any.. most here drive their busses home without issue.. some for 1000 miles or more... both mine were 1000+ mile maiden voyages.. if your bus is in a city. then taking the bus / flying / etc there and using Uber /Lyft to get to the bus from a hotel room works great..
if itsa near other skoolies, people here are often willing to help you make that last mile to your bus.
