The battery compartment on my bus doesn't have a lock on it. Have any of you installed a lock on these panels? Also, i have a fuse panel outside the bus that has a lock on it but dont have a key. Could i maybe get one from international?

Just use padlocks with short shackles so bolt cutters can't go on. Most thieves don't carry angle grinders. The panel door locks are useless also as they can be twisted so they break quite easily. Keep the keys separate and not in the bus should someone break in there also.

I get the matching lock sets so I can have a lock on the battery door, fuel door and anything else you want to make more difficult for a thief.

You wouldn't actually get the locks from International, you'd get them from whoever manufactured your body. 'But' I do have a site that has a far bit of parts that you may want to check out.

https://midwestbusparts.com/. Is the full site

https://midwestbusparts.com/index.p..._in_description=1&keyword=door+latch,+locking is the page with all the locking latches

Before you buy those latches be sure and check for simiar latches on amazon.

I've put a latch and hasp on both my battery and fuel doors. Just keeping honest peope honest. My electrical access latch is inside the bus even though the door is below the driver's window.
