I was just curious what you all did with your side STOP signs.

1. Keep it as-is
2. Remove it
3. Add custom vinyl (see below)
4. Other

I was trying to figure out something to use the stop sign apparatus for too. Mine is removed but remains in the extra parts pile.

Interstate travel takes on a new meaning since what's ok in one state is not ok in the next state.

Still rockin' mine.
I want to get lettering to say
Front- "business up front"
Back- "party in the back"

One of first things I pulled off. Welded her up, ground it smooth, and hit it with some primer. There was some insulation behind mine in the cockpit so it caught on fire a couple times, hit it with some air kept on welding. Haven't really thought of using it for anything so it went to the metal scrap pile. I really think it makes the bus look more tactical without the sign. It's your bus so maybe you're more creative than me , get wild!

Well, I checked this thread because it is my understanding you can cover the sign if you don't want to remove it, and was wanting to see what others experienced.

As our skoolie is the Justice Hoping Machine (among other things, will be providing food, first aid, and folk music among homeless encampments), I am going to paint the sign purple with the word "HOPE" replacing the STOP sign.

How to remove the sign?

Is there anything special that needs to be done to remove the sign? Can you just cut the wires, tuck them back inside, and cover the hole?
