i think the ultimate fate of my bus will decommissioned and made into cabin, when the time comes.
i was in southern Colorado and the square footage of the bus by itself is to small to qualify as a house. i'd have to add on. i think their minimum was 4 or 600 square feet. my bus is only 240sqft.

Train cars are extremely heavy and difficult to transport where you need it. Containers have corrugated walls and no windows and difficult to frame in windows and doors a regular camper is crap they aren't rodent mountain lion or bear proof a school bus is and have roof hatches for access to a possible deck on the roof or wood stove vent pipe and front and back doors it's a nobrainer
