Now you have me worried about the roller latches I installed in my cabinets. I hope they hold! I haven't driven the bus since last November... And I just installed latches a couple weeks ago...

Better safe than sorry.... I know there are a lot of other options out there and the roller latches did not have enough holding power for the size and weight of my drawers. put some things in the drawer and take it for a short drive.

That is an excellent use of those seat strap rails. I use that technique with a 2x4 ... but if I had the rails you do, I'd use them.

Design stall again..... I am hesitating about my black tank and toilet placement. I am now thinking about a composting toilet that would eliminate the need for a black water tank and water based toilet. I have been looking at the nature's head composting toilet. perhaps this is the way to go. we are not full timers. the use would be occasional. Perhaps I could even not need to build a bathroom and just use a shower curtain for privacy when needed and have an open floor space when not in use. Been watching some vids. seems to be a viable solution.

Hello friends..... long time no see. I come with bittersweet news. I have accepted an overseas position with my job, the bad news is my time with my bus is coming to an end. I have not had near enough time to spend working on it or going on adventures in it. Work has destroyed my last 3 summers and have taken very few trips in the bus. Our last trip was last fall, an impromptu trip, as we were evacuated due to forest fires. We made the most out of it and drove and camped all over for 10 days. I am writing up a post for sale and getting the pics ready. ugh. it is super sad. But honestly the bus deserves someone who will use it more. Not looking forward selling it but, I can't have it sit somewhere waiting for me to come back (I will likely be gone for 4 to 6 years) (Bermuda). Hopefully it is a hot skoolie market right now.

Ah man... That's awful. Looks exactly like where I want to be. The Skoolie market may be hot, but you see the way my account is set up... Not so much.
