Skoolie - First Post

Hello People of the World!

This is my/our first post on the forum. My girlfriend and I are seriously considering a skoolie both for trips and to live in. We are both going into our Freshman year of college this semester and are already thinking about how we want to spend our summers traveling the US and Canada in our own DIY RV. I have done lot's of research so far but now feel I'm at the point to start asking questions instead of just looking at what others have already done.

So here's to a successful conversion in the near-ish future!

Do the conversion well enough and you can live in it full-time. Most university towns have trailer/mobile home parks hidden away, maybe not in the nicest places, but just think of all the cash you could save from rent and then pour into fixing up the bus!

Good luck and welcome. I am also currently bus-less, but enjoy all the things I am learning just by reading the posts. I have at least 80 website locations saved just from reading the posts.

And check out your university's surplus system. They might have skoolies or transit busses for cheap.
