Have been following the site for a while and finally took the plunge on "my" perfect conversion. I'm now the proud owner of a '73 International 66 passenger bus by Wolfington. It's low mileage and equipped with the original 345 V-8 with 4 speed tranny and I found it only a few miles from where it was originally manufactured here in eastern Pennsylvania. I scored a solid, running/driving, state inspected, bus for $400.00. It only needed a battery to get her home.
The kicker is I rode to school in my Jr. High and High School years in an identical bus. Plans are to rehab her using various goodies from an old '98 Sea Breeze motor home I have on hand. Super excited to begin and future plans include using her to travel with a big smile behind the wheel. I'm super excited, can you tell? I'm looking forward to finally using this great resource at Skoolie.net.
