All in all I have roughly $5k total in SloppyYellow. $2500 of which is a new transmission. Paid $600 originally, plus $1900 to finish the inside. 6 guys lived in her for a week and the only modifications I will make are:
1. Need a dressing area in the back because 2 grown men have a problem occupying the space between the bunk beds
2. Need a place to put in contacts (mirror, shelf, etc)
3. Need a better ladder to access the top
4. Add the AC unit from my old camper
Other than that, Sloppy Yellow is awesome. I am extremely happy I found this website 6 months before I bought a bus. This forum helped make memories my family & friends will laugh about until we pass. I'll continue to add here, but will take a few months off as the next race won't be until Nov. however, my daughter has 5 of her friends having a sleepover in SloppyYellow thus weekend! All her friends (she's 13) think it's the coolest thing ever her dad owns a school bus!
