Re: Smoke 'em if you've got 'em!!! (Bus Burnouts)
When I first got my bus I got the back wheels to spin on a dirt road... but it's wasn't very fast, and there was a little bit of axle hop.
With an auto trans it's hard to get the turbo to spool up without being able to first get the engine speed up. I've been stuck a few times in some soft sand, and can't even get my tires to spin. Also my bus has an open differential I found out (stuck in the mud next to my garage in the spring) Oh and flat nose buses don't have as much weight over the rear axle when empty as a conventional bus, which makes traction an issue.
