Very nice guys.

And for any diesel Noobies...here is some good, basic info on how to read "smoke signals". Worth copying and holding onto.

Reading Exhaust Smoke, basic Diesel diagnosis/Troubleshooting + related comments - PeachParts Mercedes ShopForum

PS...excellent info there on "runaway engines", diesel basics and fuel considerations as well.

All, this was posted this 156 pages into another thread, and I thought it deserved top billing on it's own. Thanks, Tango!

Sorry, I haven't heard anything. Haven't been doing this for long enough, and now I'm back to the insurance problem again after being dropped for a second time. I week left.
I did look up some of the local RV parks on that new information site listed on the bottom of threads. They have a star rating from previous campers. Honestly around here, unless you need hookups, you can park out in the woods on many logging roads. I don't recommend going through open gates because they might be locked behind you like over a weekend.
Sparse population and gazillions of logging roads.
