Hey Guys,
Im new to solar and I'm trying to do a ton of research but I'd love some insight from some of you seasoned skoolies. I drew out my solar setup in a diagram (hopefully below) and would love to have you guys look over it and make sure everything seems correct, mainly sizes of cables and fuse/breaker amperages. also any suggestions would be great

Thanks in advanced heres the diagram

Nominal 24v panels right?
How many batteries?
How many AH each?
6 or 12v batteries?
Batteries hooked up in 24v pattern?
Each battery has a max drain and max charge amperage so you dont cook them, check with the manufacturer, then make sure you dont have too much solar for your batteries.
I would say add 2 copper bus bars to connect the batteries and charge controller too.
Calculate how many holes you need in each bus bar and then double it,

In general I think putting a 80-100 amp fuse on the positive wire of each ~100AH battery is good, Fuse each battery since you will be bouncing the batteries as you drive.

Yeah nominal 24v panels
For batteries currently i have 4 6v 220ah 2 strings of 2 in parrallel (so 440ah @ 12v)
I've been trying to find out the max amperage charge for them but can't see to find it, Wouldn't the MPPT controller take care of most of that though?

I'm hoping to mount the batteries securely so theres no chance of them moving around or bouncing, but ill definitely order more fuses incase im having doubts.

handy bob is great, read it a few times,
440ah battery which means 44amps input should be fine on a regular basis, which is about what your panels put out, unless you can adjust your controller it will put out full amps until it is done with bulk charging.
A general rule I have found is that you can have between 1 watt to 2 watts of solar per AH of battery,
Leave at least 12 inches of space above the batteries, 24 inches is better to water them.
