I've read through a few T444e threads, they all seemed to be old. 5+ years. Anything new developed that should be an "exclude" factor for 2001 and 2002 buses with that powerplant? Rust on these seems light.

T444E in a full size pusher isn't my idea of fun. They're V8 diesels so inherently harder to work on than a straight six such as a Cummins or a DT466. Don't get me wrong, the T444E is a great motor for a mid to short length bus but it's an absolute dog in a big one.

No oomph. And RE the threads that mentioned new pipes and turbo, nervertheless not so upgrade-able. Or maybe more to the point, hold out for a better one.
