Split Rims vs Radials

All six wheels on my bus are the widow-maker type split rims. Nobody in the are is willing to put new tires on them. So I am soon going to be buying new tires and rims.



I am thinking getting the new locking type split rims instead of radials because the tires are available everywhere, and the intertube is protected from the elements by the tire.

I think I would go with Daytons.....easy to change and lots of tire options...

I would have to change my hubs too to put Daytons on.
