I was playing with the Silver Snail this afternoon and realized that there is no wood under the rubber floor. I seem to recall that nearly everyone, in fact everyone except TigerCub, having plywood beneath the rubber floor. I'm wondering how common a metal to rubber floor really has been? Is it a regional thing? Different specs for different regions of the country? For reference, my bus came from Ohio. It was built by BlueBird East, versus West (Iowa). Thanks...I'm just morbidly curious.

Ben.

From what I've seen on the new bus sites plywood on the floor is a factory installed option and not standard equipment.

Your better off not having it. You would probably just be tearing it up anyway. Saves you some work on the deconstruction process.
