I have a 1961 Gillig that I’ve restored and use as a vintage race car hauler , build ramps in rear , changed engine to a DD641 , runs great , I sent out steering box had rebuilt and still having massive steering wander driving , does anyone know of a conversion to a better way , some retro fit ??

I recently drove 400 miles to a show and it was very hard to hold steady , constant /correction adjustment needed , wife said never again 400 miles took 8 hours
