The only way a frame could crack, without substantial damage to other components, is a manufacturing defect in the frame or steel.

This is not a bus you want to be riding in, because without knowing exactly why the frame cracked you can never be sure any repairs are effective.

Stop-drill the crack. Some of this ought to fix 'er right up.

I love when people do that "it just has ____" "it would be easy to fix."

ahhh. then why don't you fix it ?

I would pay scrap prices for anything with a cracked or bent frame.
