The 99 bumbel bee

Nice progress there. Looking nice. Have u decided where you are placing furnace, water heater, etc? I ask cause I may have found my Shuttle ive been hunting for. Only thing is it is a 10 passenger.... BUT it is a Turtle Top with actual factory passenger door and seat like a normal van. The "entrance" for the shuttle body is just behind that. Trying to figure out placements of everything:confused:

Defjr333.
Ohh man i wish I had the passenger side door. But maybe on the next one. So for heat I'm going with a plug in oil filled heater for now. If I boondock I'll go with a propane unit I think. And as far as water heater I'm putting a construction job box on the back then I'm going to put the house battereys in there and a propane tankless water heater in there. I will be building the back deck this week I hope.

Unfort the reason I DIDNT buy it is its a gasser. It still hurts....been looking for that EXACT shuttle with a diesel for 6 months now. Now I find it in a gasser all be it 1 row seats too short. So i started a thread with pics and wants/needs to call in backup in the hunt. I am determined to find it. I have been drawing blueprints for that shuttle and it just aint gonna all fit:nonono:
Keep plugging on yours. Looks good. Who knows, maybe by the time u start your next one I will have found mine:rofl:

The 01 450 looks ok...wrong roofline(not as sleek) but could maybe live with. The ones with the roof i like are stupid $$$ 16K? The one I checked was 6k:whistling:
Will look them all over tho.........Thanks again for the lead

Got the kitchen sink and shower drains run and tied into the home made Gray tank. Used a 8" schedule 40 length of pvc for the tank it self. Used a end cap then drilled in a 3" male adapter to run the drain. On the up hill end I used a 8x3 bell reducer to the in the drains. Made sure to run a 1.5" vent off of it up to the roof of the bus. The vent is super important with out it when you drain the tank you'll draw the water out of the traps too.

Sorry it's been a few months trying to remodel a house and start a plumbing company has taken the front seat. But we managed to paint the bus so no more nimble bee. Just rattle canned it. Not really interested in it looking good up close.

Can you post a pic of what you've got on the starboard side? We're planning on doing a plan pretty close to what you've got, but we might be putting some seatbelted seats over there. You've got a real awesome setup, well done.

Wow you folks did an awesome job.
Really like that little triangle side window and the way how it built out. looks like the gunners window out of some starwars movie.

Haha yeah the triangle window is super awesome. I haven't seen another one with that. My wife has wanted to put potted plants under that window as soon as we got the bus.
