Yep, I just checked I guess I did. I just wondered why my link had been removed. I haven't done anything else. I never even posted any pictures, don't know why he was yelling at me for that. I guess he thought the Strayhound was mine.

Just so you know, i stood up for you and your site. Possibly at the cost of getting banned myself. No matter the consequenses, i think it was worth it. He does not have good people skills.....and your site rocks, especially the lack of advertisements.

I read what you said on there Jason. Thanks. I don't know how easy it is to see what one person posts but when I first found that site I posted a lot of information that I learned while doing my bus. It's true that since I started my site I have posted little on the other site. Mostly because if it isn't relevant to him then don't post it. The episode back in December when I posted to come here and post your pictures in the gallery was because he was bitching at everyone because their photos where too big. Much like he is doing every day now.



As for me posting pictures that were too big I don't think I have ever put anything up there in the photos or files section. I still think he is confusing me with Strayhound. Oh well... he can think what he wants.



As for the rest of you who are also banned from there, I don't know why you were banned, but nothing posted here has ever been a problem. Must just be easy to get on his bad side.

I you think about it, the only reason to get banned from a publicly available site should only be related to profane or abusive language or (maybe) posting consistently off-topic (but most on-line groups have a place to do that).



I've founded and moderated a couple of successful (and on-going) groups and have been invoved in many for several years. The best and most active of the groups have always shared in common a "no rules, just be nice" philosophy; the groups are essentially self-regulating; the moderator/owner/manager only steps in to git rid of spam. Things that stretch the limits are usually dealt with in private emails between the moderator and offender and not made a public spectacle.



In my (maybe not so humble) opinion a moderator/owner/manager that excercises his/her "powers" publicly on the group's message board is more into inflating his/her own ego and establishing a "kingdom"; it's not really about having an open, self-regulating group that functions without much interference. Peer pressure is awesome and carries much more weight that one person (even if it is the owner of the group) "yelling loudly" in publicly displayed messages.



Anyone starting a group to which any member of the on-line public can join, without invitation and without qualification must realize that the group will be composed of a broad cross-section of the public and therefore embrace many personalities, even if all share a common interest in the group's reason for being. If one wants a kingdom (or dictatorship) that group ought to be a closed group joined only by approval or invitation; at least that way the person joining knows what rules one is going to live by.



I didn't get banned from the other site (probably only a matter of time if I had stayed; not because of anything I said but rather because of what I would have said) but choose to leave and come here when faced with the abusive nature of that group's owner. This is so much nicer!

I went to the site. Interesting. The moderator has a very......ancient Egyptian.....attitude. Not only does he ban people, but after banning them he deletes all their previous posts, kind of like the pharoahs chiseling the images of competing, defeated pharoahs from monuments.

I got booted from schoolbusnuts today. I'm really suprised actually. The moderator of that site and i have been chatting in e-mail, i though we had come to an understanding.



Even though i am no longer a part of the site, i still believe there is tons and tons of good info available there. I really like most of the people involved with that site.



Skoolie.net is awsome too. I love the lack of adds here, and the friendly atmosphere.

Eric , at least the ‘Soup ****’ on Seinfeld made such incredible soup it was worth going through the pains of getting & staying in his shop. ‘Arky’ doesn’t do anything well enough to make it worth putting up him.



Excellent Analogy about the Egyptians policy on eradicating a person from ‘History’ …Stalin was famous for doing the same thing.

He actually had people deleted from Paintings and photos …Putz.





A year or so ago I got booted from his group…after posting some info on installing a woodstove in a Bus. Lot’s of folks posted questions about my stove & thought our last Bus was good looking and such.

The next day ‘Arky’, decides to write this long & nasty post saying my info sucked and that I might want to kill myself …but HE didn’t want that kind of ‘dangerous’ info on his site.

So, I very politely posted an answer to his ‘put down’ …and he booted me.



I got a few emails from Group members saying they were sorry about me getting ‘Booted ‘and that they thought it was unfair. And they told me He did the same thing that he did to you folks and deleted any mention of me and my stove, Bus, website etc.





There’s no way to be nice or candy coat this…Bottom line is ‘Arky’s ‘ a Jerk. He’s just one of a million other Internet Bullies who’s policy is ‘it’s my way or the highway’.

He’s NOT really interested in Bus Conversions at all…he’s obviously only a childish bully who needed a forum to make himself feel important.



I hope you’re reading this ‘Arky’ , you’re just a punk and a coward who deletes anything that might let other folks know what you really are. You’re not trying to protect anyone from ‘Bad info’ …you’re just a simple-minded COWARD.



Who’s Afraid & jealous of any site or person that you think might be doing a better job than you’re doing. And you prove that you’re afraid by making sure that all mention of other ‘Ideas’ and sites that you feel compete with yours are deleted from the Groups History.



You might be able to scare a bunch of folks over on your site into believing you’re important …but in the real world, you’d be laughed out of any group for being such an obvious egotistical little Baby.

support a group that allows ANYTHING especially racsist remarks and

postings disparaging of women.regardless of your disclaimer. you run

your group your way and i'll run mine my way. the only postings of

any substance on your group either came from THIS GROUP or one of our

members.the majority of your postings are repeated info from here by

one or more of our former ( banned ) members.you are obviously just

trying to capitalise on OUR EFFORTS. i deleted your album because it

contained full size photos.

Let me know if you find anything racist on this board, I've never seen any. I sure am capitalizing on his efforts, look at all the ads on my site sending me loads of money for doing this. And about the photos he wouldn't have yell at everyone if he would have just directed everyone to the gallery at this site, where you can post any size photo you want and as many of them as you want. Not to mention they are available to everyone, not those logged into yahoo.
