Hi guys, first timer here. My name is Ryan. I'm a sophomore in college and I live about an hour west of Chicago. Since I'm in I'm the rust belt, I've found a 2001 Chevy Bluebird 66 passenger with a 3126 CAT w/ Allison auto, 112k on it for $4200 in Warsaw, MO that has no rust. I know I could get a cheaper bus, but this seemed to be a fabulous candidate that will last for a very long time. I've got a lot of great friends that are willing to help me, plus a great contractor in the family that can do almost anything! The best part about my conversion process is that ever tool I could need is already available, so I'm hoping that will help keep the cost way down.

On paper, everything is drawn to specs and fits great. Let's hope it stays like that!

I'll be posting updates of my build, and most likely a lot of questions :)

Welcome.
You will have fun I'm sure.
The access to all the tools will help out big. It did/does for me. The contractor you talked about could come in handy more than just building. Some insurance companies want a professional to build the conversation well you have one even if you do the work or help. Anyway sounds like you got a good bus and are on the path of good times. Good luck and Keep us posted
