I was the one under the bus last week. I know that she earned a few dinners out and some dishwashing from you!

Does she (or do you) have any tips on getting out the first seat on the passenger side? On my bus, it's a narrower seat to allow folks better access into and out of the bus. But that means its 'aisle bolts' are above the fuel tank.

And I'll need access above the fuel tank to put in my co-pilot's chair. Any thoughts? I'm afraid I'll need to drop the cage and tank.

On those, I just cut the bolt from the top side using a cutting wheel, and the bolt dropped out. It may live on top on the fuel tank if you can't reach it...

I saw your thread on that, I don't know if we can help. Ours is a pusher with a hundred gal tank, we couldn't see some of the nuts but there was just enough room to feel for them. A couple places there were not nuts and bolts more like the bolts had a piont and no nut.

The hardest part was sitting up to get an angel to reach up there, that's why she was under I'm 6'4" and just couldn't get my big frame in some spots

Spouse support is great. I saw my beautiful wife once poke her head out the front window to see if I was okay.... LOL, just kidding, but not too involved in the build. she'll love it when it is done and we can take our fam on trips.

Congrats on the helpers! There are times I'd kill just have another pair of hands. There are some tasks that with a helper takes 60 seconds...while working alone takes four hours.

I never got much help on my bus build. In the beginning, my friend Ashley and her boyfriend helped me remove the seats and gut the interior and install the solar panels. Wifey and her friend Cherie did some staining. My Amish buddy Moses was the biggest help in my build. Now it's just me again.
