Two good articles: one on the two trouble spots for the 5.9 Cummins--the 1988-1998 Killer Dowel Pin and the dreaded 1999-2002 "53" 24V block cracking problem. The KDP is a $40 (if that) fix that unfortunately requires taking the entire front of the flipping motor (and sometimes the front of the VEHICLE) apart. The "53" 24V block is another story...there's no real easy fix short of repowering.
The other is a tour of the factory where International builds DT466 engines, which many of us (including me) have in our buses.
Pretty cool.
