My 2008 Thomas Freightliner school bus with Mercedes engine keeps cutting off while driving along with the check engine light coming on. It will cut off and will come back on when we start. I thought it was the DFP filter or the EGR valve but, we disconnected the exhaust from the engine and clean the exhaust and started the engine without being attached to the exhaust and it did the same thing. Actually, I bought about 3 of these buses and shipped them to Liberia for business. But, it seems like those mechanic guys there cannot do a proper diagnosis. So, I have decided to throw some parts on it to know what the actual problems are but, I don't which parts to buy or what is actually going on with it. . When I plugged the computer to it, it gives me this code ” SID 0155 count 67 FMI=0 data valid but above normal operational range -most severe level. Can anyone please help?
