Hi guys,

New to the forum and about 1.5 months into my build and I have a problem. When I got my bus the air pressure system worked fine, but then I took apart the door operation system to try and run a paint sprayer from it. That didn't work and now I have no air pressure after I reassembled it and the bus alarms when running. (The alarm is not an emergency door or vent alarm.)

The bus only uses the air to run the door and the parking brake, driving brakes are hydrolic.

I think I might have tripped the safety feature while trying to use the bus compressor for another purpose and now the compressor won't run at all. My plan is to unhook the battery to hard reset the electrical system and then hopefully it will start working again.

No help.... Just an observation.

I have not looked at very many buses that had hydrolic brakes. Of those, not a one had an air compressor.

Does your parking brake work properly?

Yes, when I got the bus the parking brake worked properly. It requires pressure to undo the break so that right now the breaks are fully engaged and can't be taken off. The door also doesn't work because there is no air pressure.

my hydraulic brake red bus has an onboard factory air compressor.. for the rear suspension and for the seat.

Where is your air compressor at. I was just underneath the bus and I found the air tanks that hold the pressure but couldn't locate the actual compressor.
