Hello everyone,

I was stripping my bus and got tired of the buzzer going off so I traced the wires back and removed it. The I figured I’d remove all the wiring associated with the emergency doors and windows which let me to remove some other elements in the electrical panel. I did this because initially I thought something had been drawing power to kill the batteries.

I later found that this wiring might be needed to start the bus, damn. It seems I may have royally screwed up my electrical rather than cleaning up “unnecessary” electrical systems. Is there a way to bypass this system? Is there a way to “Hotwire” the bus or trace wires and rig them in a way to get it to start?

I removed the roof top E-hatch/exit, and all 4 widow E-exits. If memory serves me correctly, I cut the wires and left them (wire nuts and tape to prevent them from making contact) The H-cap door alarm??? I don't recall what I did, if anything, alarm may have been eliminated by the guy I bought my bus from when he removed the wheel chair lift.
So, blah, blah, blah...my rear exit door...alarm is still functional and I think maybe that particular alarm is where you need to focus.
Hopefully someone will have a wiring diagram. I do not.
I know, a hole lot of not very helpful verbage...wish I had something more helpful.
edit; my rear door doesn't prevent my bus from starting so maybe the alarms systems are integrated into the chassis differently. I have a freightliner chassis.

Need more info on your bus body but in this thread you will find a generec wiring diagram for a Thomas MVP.

Hope this helps you

not a thomas but in my little bus it had the vanda lock system and i connected the vanda lock pilot and the vanda lock relay wires as labled together to keep everything happy.
