Too much rust?

I wanted to get everyones opinion on this bus. Has a great engine and transmission but is this considered too much rust on the bottom? From the inside, its been stripped, sanded, welded and 2 coats of the rust metal paint.

It's not real bad, with some corrective action it will last quite a long time.

Easiest corrective action, wire brush, OSPHO and rattle can paint.

next would be some light sandblasting, OSHPO, paint.

Where you got rust holes, cut out rust, clean, OSPHO, weld in new pieces and paint.

Many of us here have tackled worse, including me.

What engine tranny combo you got?

Thanks for the tips. It's a 2004 CE International CE300 with a DT466 and an Allison 2000. Still shopping around for a bus and had the owner send me these pics.

I agree with EWO1. I've seen worse. The chassis rails are thick metal so even some rust on them is fine. The last pic with the underfloor rust will be the biggest concern as it's thinner. Make sure you can't poke a flat heat screw driver through any of it, and if not it's workable, and if it's only a small area that pokes through still workable, just will require some welding to fix.

Looks fine to me. Someone from the desert southwest is likely hyperventilating at those pics. Is that in eastern ohio? I think I recognize the dealer on the mudflaps.
