Go with a standard

Pablo,
I'm a newbie here and just got my first bus, but my advice pertains to all vehicles. If can possibly see your way clear to do it, get a standard transmission. When shopping for our first bus, a standard was a prime requirement.
Standards last more or less forever, they (usually) give lots of warning before something terrible happens, they're easier on fuel, they're cheaper to repair if something does happen, they can be push-started and most importantly - for us - they're highly unlikely to leave you stranded on the side of the road.
What's not to like?

Best regards
