Trans wiring damage

The connector is still attached to the temp sensor, but internally damaged and missing two of the square terminals. Ordered a replacement connector off a 97 GM LS1 that looks the same

I assume it’s why one or both headlights don’t always work. I’ll patch that back in while I’m at it. Thanks Bamabus

Update about wiring harness to the hood: The two wire connector that was missing on my bus actually branched off from the harness into the hood and went down under to the crossmember of the frame to the horns. After repairing those wires and connector the horn is working again

I have found where the three pink wires for the temp sensor go into the firewall junction. Found a three wire connector up there by the brake master and traced the continuity of those three pink wires to the wires to the coolant temp sensor. Can anyone confirm they are in fact terminals A, B and C from that flat style connector at the firewall to respective A, B and C on the connector at the temp sensor on the block? New connector should be here early next week and I just want to make sure I wire it up correct the first time. Thanks

Just checked my 97 with a multimeter and the abc's match up on the connector and at the sensor.

Excellent. I’ll get it rewired with a new sensor connector next week. Thanks again! This will hopefully be the final goat chewed wiring I have to deal with.
