I cleared out the 190 gallon waste tank so I could replace the cleanout valves. They were old and it was time to take care of this. I have more to go but this is where I am at today. The nice thing is I can selectively adjust the air suspension which served me well to make sure everything was drained from the tank!

I was detailing the underside when I pressed up against an air line going to the Bennett shifter. There is a rubber coupled hose attached to a cloth hose that goes to the aux air tank. To remove it, I had to pull the shifter off the transmission. This required cutting off a stubborn 3/4" thick bolt. I called a place in TX that supports these shifters and for $107 plus parts, they will rebuild it. Since it took so much effort to take this thing out, I decided to send it in and have them do their magic. Stopped at a hose shop today and had them make a new air line.
Last week I found some rotted steel under the sewer pipe section. I cut out the bad metal and welded in new 12gauge galvanized steel plate which was still coated in Por15. Seam sealed, spray foamed and finally finished it with polyiso that is also sealed at all edges. Other improvements were to fabricate a steel water tank support since the tank may bulge a bit when full of 190 gallons. On that support, I added a shelf that holds a 500 watt ceramic heater that turns on via basement thermostat. Parts are sent off to powder coat today before install.

How is your air suspension set up? One regulator in the front and two , on each side one, in the back?

This has an older automated HWH system. One ride height for the front and two at the rear for left and right. Keypad on dash lets me arrow up, down, side to side, dump all air and "travel" mode which I can't override. (Sets the bus to the correct ride height when engine is running)

Do you have a ferry mode. On our Dory I can raise the bus 3", only below 10 or 15 mph.

Johan, I believe so. I am still learning the HWH system. Haven't played with the low speed travel mode but I think it will allow raised suspension to get over obstacles for a slow speed. I have been reworking some plumbing including a water pressure regulator that creeps up after a bit. You know how it goes.... Several trips to Lowes or Home Depot to find the elusive part, clip, fitting, screw...

So you think you guys have a complicated plumbing system?! There were a couple of valve stems leaking so I took them all apart and rebuilt them. Home Depot sells valve stem kits with packings. While in there, I am reworking some of the plumbing that went unused over the years.
