Under Belly Storage

Hey everyone! We're wondering if anyone has found luck with after market under belly storage. Our dream bus would be a rear engine 7.2 or larger with transverse under belly storage. We are finding it very difficult and would love to open up our options by being able to add the storage after market. Thanks!!

You can use under body tool boxes and join the center with sheet metal.

Danjo's work there is fantastic - looks stock. You can do some nice things like that with a rear-engine bus, when you don't have to deal with the driveline.

There are buses out there with storage built in...typically school team buses and such. Here's a decent example, if you're okay with the Cummins 8.3 (which is a fantastic engine).

Yup...it listed a couple of times with an outrageous reserve. It never got bids at that price, and it shouldn't have - it's not a $16,000 bus. They dropped the reserve and it sold a few weeks ago for about $4000...a great deal if the rust is surface only, as described. The buyer, though, couldn't make payment in time so they re-listed it with a starting bid of $2500. It won't go for that, I'm sure. ****, even though we don't need another bus right now I'd buy it for $2500. I'm guessing it's going to sell for $5000...maybe more this time? I think the last "buyer" got lucky.

I don't think it's a case of "can't give it away" and I see nothing to make me think it's a risky purchase, so I thought the OP might be interested.
