hey everyone! complete noobie here so hello hello
we just got this 2003 ford e350 super duty short bus and are in dire need of some help.
there is a ton of rust and few cracks in the frame that supports the floor that we need to sort out but are unsure of how to fix them(we also do not know what they are called). the actual body seems to be in okay condition, it is just under the floor that seems pretty bad. i will attach photos. any help on literally anything is VERY welcomed!!!!!

your gonna need to lift the body from the frame, cut out that support beam and replace with a new one. there is no patch repair left to do on that strut!

Is it just the one that is bad like that?

Hey, I have a 2005 GMC shorty that had a similar issue. Here's how we fixed it: https://sunnythebus.com/how-we-replaced-a-rusty-beam-in-the-bus/

The 'lucky' part for us was that we replaced this prior to the interior build, so we had access to the bolts and were able to replace with new ones. We also lucked out that we only had one like this and didn't have to separate from the bus body from the frame.

To replace the rubber spacers, we used two hockey pucks on each side, drilled and bolted through the center. It's an old off-road trick for bump stops.

Either way, good luck!
