Did any of you keep them for any reason? Just got done removing my bus seats and trying to decide on whether or not to keep them. Im referring to the little walls in the very front, one on each side that have the same leather material as the bus seats

They are there as part of the safety system. In the event of a crash, the child seated in the front row hits the wall instead of the windshield. They also keep you from falling down the entry steps!. No real reason to keep them unless you have a seat behind them.

:facepalm:I have fallen down my bus bus steps twice since I took those out...I though that I was just a klutz....

I am going to put a co-pilot seat there. It had to go.

I was thinking of cutting the passengers side down around 6 inches or so so I could keep the grab rail and put a screen on the bottom so items don't keep falling into the well while driving. Passengers "should" be able to see out at that level.
Behind the driver I'm putting a cabinet and counter so will leave it in place.

This is what i have done. Cut the passenger side down to keep the rail.

I removed both of mine going to add a finished wooden banister to help with entry stairs. Drivers side will.use for toolbox placement close to steps for access. Or may mount Heater removed from floorboard for drivers comfort.
