most of this post is copied from my original for sale post but now I am very urgent to be rid of this bus, any part not sold by September 1st will be scrapped
please message me with any inquiries, I will sell all parts for dirt cheap.
PS. I have chassis/engine/electrical manuals and a computer/adapter to run diagnostics on the engine(t444e)

I bought a short(ish) bus from my high school junior year for me and my friends to dick around and eventually take a road trip with. We had a great time working on it, but we lost steam and money, now we have graduated and a skoolie just isn't in the cards for college so Im looking to sell the bus to help pay for school and to get it off my parents property.
I am located in Fallbrook, in San Diego County
the bus has spent its entire life working for the Vista unified school district. (in southern Cali) it has about 230k miles and 16k hours on the chassis
the bus is a 1999 international 3800 Amtran that was a short bus.
powertrain is the t444e(7.3 powerstroke) and an Allison automatic,
PRE DEF no emissions BS
it runs great like anyone would expect, I had a former bus mechanic for the fallbrook high bus yard check it over before I even bought it, no mechanical issues, no rust, very minimal electrical issues*,all 6 tires are good although they have been sitting in my field for the past 2 years
we did some bunk building and blanked the windows (still have the originals in my garage) but I can strip any of our work we did and return it to blank if anyone so wishes.
roof emergency exit pop out mechanism was broken by an idiot(me) but it still works. interior fiberglass insulation was replaced with 1/2 in foam insulation,
*air door switch not working, and starter interlocks dubiously bypassed, needs two new batteries (I let them go dead
) otherwise electrically sound
been fighting with the dmv for a while on the registration, but that will be resolved before I let anyone buy
No CDL required because its less than 26,000 lbs
