Using parts from wheel chair lift.

I have a thought I might do.

I'm thinking about seeing if I can dismantle my wheelchair lift and use the lift/drop rams to open and close the main door. Maybe put some water proof switches some place outside (hidden of coarse) along with inside. That way when closed it would be secure with out needing to figure out a locking system.

Thoughts?
