Hello, friends!
I recently came across some tankless hot water heaters that are marketed as "ventless", stating that they have low oxygen sensors, etc. for occupant safety. I'm wondering if anybody has experience with these?
I feel like this is the same discussion as catalytic propane heaters, the question or whether or not venting is required.
My thoughts lead me to believe that a ventless propane tankless water heater may actually be safer than a ventless propane space heater, in the sense that it will only be running for a fraction of the time that a space heater would. My girlfriend and I take very quick showers, 10 min max with very low flow, which supports my thoughts.
Feedback is appreciated!
