Good afternoon guys,
Have to sell my skoolie 1992 international with dt466 and Allison 643. Gentleman from maine wants it but have a bit of a weird situation.
I bought the bus in Kentucky and I have the title with sellers name and my name on it.
I registered it as a motorhome in VT. Registration expired about 2 months ago.
Questions:
1. Do I need to update the registration to active in VT before I can transfer it over? (I know they don’t title something 25 yrs and older).
2. Is anyone familiar with if they need a title in maine or will they except the transferee reg? I do have the title but it says my name and the sellers only. No way to put his name on it.
3. If I register it in CT it’s a real pain. From my understanding they need to inspect it’s a motorhome and not a bus.
4. Could he apply for a lost title and show the registration as transferred?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
