hi, can you determine witch transmission is on a bus by the "vin number" ???

i have the "vin number" when i go see on some "vin decoder" they never show up witch transmission is on....did you know where i can get the info?

it's a 1999 bluebird TC2000 with a cummins 5.9 FE flat nose with 14windows

transmissions get changed... and trans type may also be on the bus data plate...
well. it is on mine...
but i got under there and looked anyway... mine has a rebuilt one in it.

If it's an auto,crawl under bus with a rag and a flashlight
on the pass side of tranny is a data plate,wipe it off and it will say something like 545 or 643 etc on mdel number
