So I’m wanting to get a spare injection pump but I’ve read there’s some program difference between a dodge truck pump and a medium duty such as Freightliner bus so probably can’t just call the auto parts?

With a Cummins engine you can enter the details online and get the part number for the pump on your engine.

You have to create an account.

To get a new , new injection pump is going to be very expensive.
Rotary pumps were the cheap alternative to inline pumps because they have less components that have to work harder to do the same job.
better try to get one at the junkyard and have it tested.

That’s what I’ve got in mind they are expensive but not so much as being without on the road
