Hello, I have a 2011 Ford El Dorado Shuttle Bus (Fiberglass body), thinking of leaving the ceiling panels up and using a peel and stick wallpaper on them. Has anyone had any experience with this? The fiberglass shell has a little insulation so we weren't planning on insulating the ceiling, just floors and maybe a little extra on the walls. I'm wondering how the wallpaper will hold up if it gets a little hot and humid in the bus. Thanks!

I’m planning the same thing. I will be applying a thin layer of insulation, plywood, treat that and then apply the wallpaper. It will be too hard to apply directly to the ceiling because of all the rivers. If you treat plywood you can apply wallpaper with no issues.

Are you going to take the ceiling panels off first or leave them and put the insulation and treated wood on top of the ceiling?

Some wallpaper is actually paper and would absorb moisture, other kinds are vinyl which are probably ok. The smooth fiberglass surface would adhere to pretty well.

The honeycomb used is not great insulation. roof is where the heat goes to escape, so if you are in cold climates that is important to insulate, in hot climates the a/c cold sinks to the floor, so floor insulation is important.
