Hi. I have wanted to own a skoolie ever since I saw my first one at a camp ground. They appealed to me immediately. Sturdy, built to go the distance with screaming kids on country roads, how could you go wrong?
So here is my chance: I found a 1999 Ford e450 Diesel 7.3 short bus with 77K miles. It is in turn key condition, hand has been fleet maintained every 3000 miles by the school that owned it. Issue is the wife is "not sure its a bargain"
The interior is quite nice (see pics) Tires look good, engine and trans run well, and it over all looks quite solid. I am a mechanical / Electrical engineer and there is almost nothing that scares me as far as fixing and maintaining it.
