Want a skoolie, dont have the space

My name is Scooter and I'm a software developer. I'm looking in to a skoolie as a way to allow me to travel and climb more. The current problem I am having is I don't have the space to store or convert a bus. If anyone has advice on a solution for this I would love to hear it!

Post on craigslist or local.facebook that you want to pay a little to park there. Some storage places will also allow you to work on your skoolie but not all! Don't assume you can work on it there! It's a LOT easier if you can work on it conveniently.
